On Thursday 10th October at 2:00 pm The Uprising Community Club were kindly invited to afternoon tea by Hackney Speaker of the Council, Counsellor Kam Adams, at Hackney Town Hall.
The afternoon was relaxed and informative. Our over 50’s were treated to a tour of the building, history of Hackney and a Q&A session.
Counsellor Kam Adams kindly visited and gave a speech at the Uprising Community Club Windrush Street Party in August.
